Rush By: Maya Banks

Rush By: Maya Banks

Pages: 358 Pages.
Format: EBook (Nook)
Series: The Breathless Trilogy

I couldn't find a review on this book that I hated or loved. That might sound weird but this book is new to the market still. Knowing this I came to see that most of Maya Banks followers (like me) have read this. Most, like me, on the day it came out. Being there when a book first comes out is kind of a weird thing. I mean my best friend, my soon to be mother-in-law and I all read ALL of Maya Banks books. So it may not seem odd that we would read her newest work. However, the fact that we had this books release date written down in more than one location, know the who was publishing it and when it was still in edits, yes that might sound a little creepy stalker-ish but what can we say we love the ladies writing.

This book is great. It is exactly what you think of when you a pick up a book my Maya Banks. I started reading her Sweet series first then the KGI and her others, so this book really fits her writing. I wonder how long you have to write to get to the point that people expect you on the page.

This book is standard yet spicier then Tabasco.
The plot is solid and you really get a feel for the people in it. The characters that you meet you want to know more about.

Book 2 Fever comes out April 2nd.

Must Be A Happy Read.

Five ways 'Til Sunday By: Delilah Devlin

Pages: 223 Pages.
Format: EBook (Nook)
Series: Delta Heat (Book 1)

I was informed that my blog can make a grown man blush. If that is really the case DO NOT READ THIS BOOK! This series is for the kind of people who know EXACTLY what they want to read.

"1 Star So in my opinion this would definitely not happen in real life, and definitely would not be happening in my fantasies There was no real connection to any of the characters, and you don't even get the feeling that the other cops are hot until the last big scene, which by that time you’re still trying to decipher who is who .- Goodreads.com Reviewer"

I found the review above and my best friend and I were really heart broken by it. I mean the plot of this book is not strong but that is NOT what you are reading the book for.  This book is good in the way of everyone need to know if you ever made a sexy time bucket list before you got married that the love of your life would "help you check it off". This book is not for the fair of heart. Like I said before the plot is meh, but the book is read able, and the series GROWS.

Rock Hard By: Olivia Cunning

Rock Hard By: Olivia Cunning

Pages: 326 Pages.

Format: EBook (Nook)

Series: Sinners Series (Book 2)

I don’t find it as any surprise that the next book I read was the second one in the Sinners series this book is Sed's book. After reading the first book "Backstage Pass" we now have a bound of some sort with all the men in the band.

So like an addict looking for my next fix I am pulled to this book.

However I found something before I started that made me hold back for a minute. A review...

"2.5 Stars: /

Okay, look, it is not my intention to completely disregard the hottness that is Sedric Lionheart or his growl-worhty protective nature and exemplary, unselfish bedroom skills. However, I'd be lying if I didn't admit my irritation with the story and one said, self-centered leading lady... Ms. Mess I mean, Jessica Chase. -Goodreads.com Reviewer."

This could NOT be true! Did the not read the first book? Did they not feel the plot and character development flowing through there veins more vital then blood. The need to know what was going to happen to who. These men needed fixed and who was going to do it!?!

Olivia would not let us down and make something that should get 2.5 stars. THIS CHICK IS OFF HER MED!!!!!!!!!!

So I get down to the good part, the book

 HOLY SHIT IT WAS GREAT!

I get that people shouldn't try to fix people. You should love them for who they are and grow together. However, some people need a boot to the ass to get them going! When you need to be independent women but you have a man who is a problem solver things are hard and you just got to see sometimes people are trying to help, and that is okay.

This book like the first covered a wide assortment of emotion situations and taboos!

Backstage Pass By: Olivia Cunning

Backstage Pass By: Oliva Cunning

Pages: 283 Pages.

Format: EBook (Nook)

Series: Sinners (Book 1)

In this review I am not really going to tell you too much about the book. I am going to tell you how I found it, picked it, and how I LOVED IT!

Searching the Internet is one of the must do's when you want to find a good book and not waste your time with something you wont enjoy. Feeling a little bothered still from the last book I read (535 pages). I was having some trust problems. Unwilling to settle, I kick myself into research mode. Luckily, my best friend was home that day. It's easier to find something, when  you don't have to worry about sounding crazy.

Reading reviews and checking Goodreads.com is a MUST DO! While searching the Goodreads website I had narrowed it down to 4 series. Well 5 but that one had cowboys and that’s not really my thing. Okay, so now to pick first step add ALL of them to my TBR (to be read) pile. Then read the plot description. However, I came across a review that changed everything.

"WARNING: Do not read this book unless you have your significant other available or a vibrator with A LOT of batteries!! -Goodreads Reviewer"

Now that I read a few times. I read it to my best friend who looked at me and said, "Why are you not reading this book yet? You know I need something to read after the Sweet series." Some people just get you.

I should say that this evening I was supposed to go out with friends.

9 o'clock came, I told my fiance that I wasn't going...he said I had to.

10 o'clock came and I was informed that if I don't put my book down and get to were I need to be, I would regret it. So, I put my nook into my bag and head out.

That evening I was asked what I was reading currently, (I love my friends). If you ever wondered what a captured audience is, well then you should have been there. 6 Arab men listening to my description of this book, priceless.

When I got home at 1 AM I still was reading, I read tell I was at the point were I was debating developing a adderall addiction so I could stay up longer to read.

This book is NOT a Must Read.

Provoke Me By: Cari Quinn

Provoke Me By: Cari Quinn

Pages: 535Format: EBook (Nook)Series: Unveiled Series (Book 2)

First, I would like to say I do NOT get why the first book was less the 200 pages long and this one was 535 pages. I understand if a book gets longer the further into a series it gets, or if it is a Laurann Dohne book that should be as long as possible. However, this was just book two. I read it all and I have to say, it was good. It wasn't 535 pages good

Being that this book is the second one in a series the basic are pretty much the same as Reveal Me. Same set up same rules apply.

Kelly loved her job. I mean who wouldn't? She worked in a book store. Life was good and everything feels into place. Everything was just the way she liked it to be. Wake up and 5 AM, go to work, talk to her best friend Alana on the phone, eat, bed, repeat. It may not have been exciting but it worked for her. She was NOT bored! Swear!... Well it did when her boss wasn't being an ass.

Kelly had worked at the 'Book Nook' for 3 years and only one thing bothered her. Her boss Spencer. He seemed to always want to fight. Really what was his problem? It’s not like he knew she had the hot for him, or that he was on the top ten men to fuck list on her PDA...Wait were was her PDA?

What to do now that he healed Kelly's purple PDA in his hands? There was no way of knowing for sure it was hers. Maybe someone had one just like hers, and left it on his desk, by mistake of course. It wasn't his fault that the screen saver opened to a file named "Top ten to fuck", who would even write a list like that? Yeah that was what he was upset about not the fact that he was number 10. NUMBER FUCKING 10. Good thing it wasn't Kelly’s PDA or he would show her number 10. He would just ignore it and have a staff meeting about pulling pranks. Yeah that's what he would do.

If he could get her off his mind.

This book was good, a little cliche for me but hey not everyone's into the same thing. I wouldn't say this is a MUST READ unless you are looking to get the most bang for your buck (Money Per Page).

COULD READ!

Connie knowing all the ins and outs of the local BDSM scene took Liz to the suicide help fundraiser that just happened to have a bachelor and bachelorette auction; well a Sub and Dom auction more like it. This seems allot like a set up, maybe should have run when she had the chance but its to late now.
